As I have been assimilating the fourth line of Gurumayi’s Message, I realize that it is through “witnessing” the play of the body and mind and learning the personal lessons from that play that I can become firmly established in the reality that everything is purely divine, exactly as it is.
New York, United States
This afternoon I was walking in a strong wind. On my way, I saw a lot of nuts that the wind had blown onto the road, and I started to collect them. Very quickly, I filled up my pockets, and I regretted not having a bag.
Suddenly, I saw an orange bag coming that was being pushed by the wind. My awareness went from my limited condition to the all-pervasive presence of the Guru, the presence of God. I was no longer under a walnut tree but under a wish-fulfilling tree, and I was happy to experience this divine presence in the simplicity of my daily life.
With this attitude of witnessing, I had “enlightened my consciousness.”
Rodez, France
For me, “witnessing” is staying aware of the quiet space from which I observe thoughts, feelings, and other experiences.
When I contemplate how I can bring this into my daily life, I think the practice is simply to remember this embracing awareness, along with my breath and the mantra, whenever I can throughout the day. I feel that being with the stillness of that awareness is a gift of Shri Guru’s grace.
I think that “witnessing” allows me to “enlighten my consciousness.” It is something I truly enjoy and am grateful for, and a source of peace and ease.

For me, this fourth line of Gurumayi’s Message is a directive to myself to “witness” how I am thinking. Are my thoughts—which lead to my actions—in line with Gurumayi’s teaching?
I also receive this line of Gurumayi’s Message as a directive to “witness” my feelings about what I do in my life. Do I look for God’s love in others and act and respond accordingly?
Appreciating the love in others enlightens my world; it also “enlightens my consciousness,” and it makes my life light and filled with the sweetness of love.
Missouri, United States
Contemplating this line from Gurumayi’s Message, I observe that the line doesn’t say to enlighten our mind.
When I read “Witness!” I feel guided to expand my awareness beyond narrow patterns of thought and direct it toward something much vaster.
With this, I ask myself, “Why not enlighten your mind?” And the answer comes back that my mind can no more grasp the Self than a camera can fully encompass the grandeur of the Grand Canyon or the panoramic view from a lofty mountaintop. A camera can only capture what is within the confines of the frame, while Consciousness isn’t at all bound by my mental framework.
This line in Gurumayi’s Message is extremely powerful for me. It feels like it is pushing me through a door of familiar confines into the rush of fresh air, moving toward a vast, ineffable space of pure awareness.
Washington, United States
For me, Gurumayi’s invitation to “witness”—and thereby to “enlighten my consciousness”—proved to be an incredibly powerful practice and a great blessing.
My experience is that there is truly nothing but oneness within me. Only “I” exist within me as awareness, which itself is “Consciousness.” There is nothing else within me that I would call “me.”
I have found that my consciousness is automatically enlightened when I simply observe. I become aware of my own state and my own being, which are pure Consciousness—a truly liberating and soothing experience that makes me feel very still and humble.
Konolfingen, Switzerland
As I return to the fourth line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026—“Witness! Enlighten your consciousness”—I see more clearly how this teaching has been unfolding in the ordinary moments of my life.
I now recognize more readily how often thoughts, emotions, and reactions can pass across my inner vision like clouds. Simply noticing them allows me to let them move on without obscuring what is clear and steady within. I can then observe what is before me with greater clarity and presence. With this inner perspective, even the smallest moments of daily life—a conversation, a walk, the changing light, a simple task—can reveal their beauty and significance.
I am profoundly grateful to Gurumayi for this teaching, which continues to deepen my perception of the light shining through the ordinary moments of my life.
Buenos Aires, Argentina
When I reflected on the four lines of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, I felt that together they form a beautiful journey of inner transformation.
“Renew! Reset your mind” reminds me to release old patterns and bring fresh energy to my thoughts, allowing my mind to become aligned with the remembrance of Shri Guru.
“Observe! Uphold your dharma” reminds me that, whatever circumstances arise, I should remain steady in my responsibilities and continue to choose what is right with sincerity and love.
”Recharge! Nourish your heart” inspires me to keep devotion, compassion, gratitude, and love alive within my heart, allowing these qualities to enrich my daily life.
And “Witness! Enlighten your consciousness” encourages me to observe my thoughts, emotions, and actions with greater awareness and to recognize the light that is already within.
For me, Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 is a loving invitation to live each day with greater awareness, love, steadiness, and a deeper connection with Shri Guru.
Ahmedabad, India
For me, the word enlighten means “to shed light on.” Over and again the ever-gracious Shri Guru shows me that to “enlighten my consciousness” requires awareness, remembering to practice, and allowing myself to do it.
Each time I become aware that my gaze is turned entirely outward, that awareness enables me, in a nanosecond, to shift my awareness to an inner gaze. In an instant, in that shift of my gaze, my experience is that I am in “the light of Consciousness.” Each time I practice the inner gaze, I experience that I am resting in the Self. My goal in this precious life is to be permanently established in the experience of the Self.

I have been reflecting on the experience of witnessing as being heart-based, occurring in my heart. Recently, when I have experienced challenging interactions, if I shine the light of the Siddha Yoga teachings and practices on my fears and strong emotions, I have been feeling myself witnessing them in my heart more. Even though there is dispassion and detachment in this space, there is also compassion and gentleness. This is, step by step, how I am learning to “enlighten my consciousness.”
Warrnambool, Australia
My heart is “nourished” when I “recharge” by caring for myself and others, by seeing familiar things with fresh eyes, and by cultivating right understanding in every situation through the Guru’s teachings.
For example, this year I have participated twice in the Introduction to Siddha Yoga Meditation offered at the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Melbourne. I felt deeply nourished by being in the company of both new seekers and seasoned meditators as well as by receiving the guidance of the teachers. In this way, I saw familiar aspects of my Siddha Yoga practice with fresh eyes, and I discovered new dimensions within myself. It was truly eye-opening. I felt “recharged”!
The Guru’s shakti is ever fresh and beneficial.

In contemplating this part of Gurumayi’s Message, I have been pondering and searching for what it means for me. Recently, “Recharge” has come alive. I feel it has an energy that is supporting me to take a positive, new look at ways to be more open.
“Nourish” has also come alive, and my perspective has changed from figuring out how to “nourish” myself to understanding all the ways that I am now being nourished in my world. With this awareness—and through the nourishment I receive from my Siddha Yoga practices—I can then “nourish” those around me by being more grounded in my own Self.

Today I planted a few flower bulbs and imagined the flowers blooming next spring with their beautiful, fragrant petals. I felt such delight. I saw that the garden, the soil, the herbs, the flowers, the fruits, the air, the water—all these!—are “nourishing my heart.”
I feel the joy of nature and gratitude in my being. I mentally offered a flower to the Guru’s feet, and in springtime I will offer her one of the living blossoms.
Nature “recharges” me with God’s light.
Hindelang, Germany
When I sat to meditate this morning, I repeated the third line of Gurumayi’s Message, and “Recharge!” spoke to me. I saw that if I can “recharge,” then I must already have a charge within.
Then I suddenly thought of the mantra, Om Namah Shivaya! This is the inner charge!
With this understanding, an inner smile appeared. As I focused on the mantra undulating with my breath, I felt my inner light “recharging” brighter and brighter.
Repetition of the mantra “nourishes my heart.”

When I reflected on the fourth and final line of Gurumayi’s 2026 Message—“Witness! Enlighten your consciousness”—I felt invited to look at my own life with greater awareness.
Throughout the day, many thoughts, emotions, and reactions arise within me. Sometimes a small situation can make me happy, while at other times, something unexpected can disturb my mind. I am learning not to react immediately, but to pause and observe what is happening within me.
Gurumayi’s words have helped me understand that witnessing all that does not mean suppressing my thoughts or emotions. It means becoming aware of them without immediately allowing them to control my actions. When I look at myself myself in this way, I begin to experience greater clarity and a quiet sense of inner space.
For me, “Witness!” is an invitation to become more aware of myself, while “Enlighten your consciousness” reminds me to bring greater light and awareness into the way I live each day. I pray that, through Gurumayi’s grace, I may continue to view myself with honesty, to recognize the light within, and to allow that awareness to guide my thoughts, words, and actions.
Ahmedabad, India
When I read this line—“Witness! Enlighten your consciousness”—I recalled an experience I had as a very young child, one that was rekindled within me and that came alive again in my heart when I received shaktipat diksha.
It is the experience of gazing out from a vast eye in absolute and blissful solitude. Through this window at the level of my forehead, I survey the wonder of life—free from desires, expectations, doubts, and fears. In this place my heart delights, and the illuminating Consciousness experiences it all!
Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, Argentina
As I contemplated this line of Gurumayi’s Message, I realized that when I am thinking and feeling that I am Shiva—that my inner consciousness is God—the experience of witnessing arises within. My mind becomes lighter and calm, and my thoughts and actions have greater clarity. Seeing God’s light in myself and in everyone is my favorite practice, and it brings immense blessings in my life. The feeling of being Shiva, as “Consciousness,” enlightens my entire being.
Ahmedabad, India
When I first reflected on this line of Gurumayi’s Message, I thought of my efforts to witness what happens during meditation. As I sat with this, I realized that witnessing is something I can practice in my daily interactions, as well.
Whenever someone is upset with me, or I am upset with them, stepping back and observing the interaction from a bird’s-eye view helps me gain perspective. It brings a sense of calm and equipoise.
Each morning, I write Gurumayi’s Message in my journal and consider how I might bring her teaching into my day. Each day, I discover new nuances and fresh ways to live and experience her Message.

For me, nourishment for my heart has always been through chanting the Lord’s name. Chanting takes me to ecstasy instantly! I always feel so much energy and power, both while chanting and after chanting. If I am feeling sad or heavy, chanting is the way!
Dombivli, India
What drains me and what “recharges” me?
Too much screen time, dwelling on the past, and holding onto judgments drain me.
Attending the weekly satsang at the local Siddha Yoga meditation center, spending time at Gurudev Siddha Peeth offering seva as well as following the Ashram Daily Schedule, and listening to Gurumayi’s voice in the audio recording of a chant “recharge” me.
Thane West, India
How do I “recharge”? What gives me the energy to begin again with a renewed sense of peace and purpose?
For me it happens through my love of nature: taking a walk among the trees while listening to a chant or sitting by the ocean and listening to the waves as they seem to call out Om Namah Shivaya.
My heart feels “nourished” when I experience a deep sense of quietude after meditation, when I pause to listen attentively to the birds chirping in the early morning, or when I read and reflect upon the transformative words of Shri Guru.
These simple moments bring me back to myself. They quiet the noise, replenish my spirit, and remind me that to “recharge,” I need simply to slow down, listen, and be present.
Florida, United States
When I do the practices shown by the Guru, I often experience the inner energy cleansing and opening my heart chakra.
As I reflected further on the third line of Gurumayi’s Message “Recharge! Nourish your heart,” it dawned on me that just as all beings need to eat to nourish their body regularly in order to stay at their best, so too the heart needs regular nourishment.
I have immense gratitude that I receive so much grace to “nourish my heart” in so many ways that uplift me and the world around me.
California, United States
More than ever this year, I recall Gurumayi’s Message every single day. At the end of my morning meditation, I raise the small lamp on my puja altar and offer the flame as I recite the mantra Om Namah Shivaya three times—first to Gurumayi, then to Baba, and then to Bade Baba.
After this, I direct the warmth of the flame toward my head while saying the first line of the Message, then toward my chest while saying the second line. Next, I place one hand over my heart as I repeat the third line, and finally, I direct the flame to my entire body, lovingly repeating the last line.
It’s so powerful for me to honor Gurumayi’s Message for the year in this way each morning. It guides me throughout the entire day, making me feel strong, invigorated, and supported. I connect with my spirituality and remain serene, no matter what happens.
San Giorgio a Cremano, Italy
I have been contemplating the third line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 all year long, and especially this week. I thought I understood its meaning for me. Then, a few nights ago, while lying half-asleep in bed in the middle of the night, I suddenly heard these words inwardly: “You should do something nice for someone.”
I immediately recognized the words as being from a story I heard many years ago of someone coming before Gurumayi during darshan and lamenting about something that was happening in their life. Gurumayi replied that the person should do something nice for someone.
Lying in bed, I recalled how, when I do something nice for someone, I feel connected to that person and my heart opens; regardless of how I am feeling in that moment or what I am thinking, I am uplifted and refreshed.
Now, I understand that for me, performing acts of kindness is a way to practice Gurumayi’s teaching “Recharge! Nourish your heart.”
New York, United States
I am very literal and have been thinking that “nourish your heart” essentially meant being loving and kind to myself. Yesterday, while reciting Shri Guru Gita for the first time in a few months, I remembered Bade Baba’s teaching, “The heart is the hub of all sacred places. Go there and roam.”
I realized that reciting Shri Guru Gita is nourishing as well as uplifting for me. It is a powerful way in which I remember, honor, and connect with the Self. It is my superhighway to “recharging”! It was a moment of fabulous understanding.

Being in nature always “nourishes my heart.” It recharges the light I feel I have been given. This light, this shimmering light, is always with me.
I could not help but stare into the golden glimmering background for the third line in “Assimilating Gurumayi’s Message for 2026.” I could not take my eyes off it, and now I know why!
When I closed my eyes and began my meditation this morning, there it was: the golden, shimmering light, the backdrop of my meditations.
In my experience, Gurumayi always speaks to my heart—it is with her grace that I “recharge.” I am forever grateful.

As I reflect on the year, I find that mantra japa has greatly helped me “nourish my heart.” The mantra feels like it is “recharging” my breath and infusing my being. My mind calms down, and I give myself time to relish this feeling of being nourished.
As I engaged with the practice of mantra japa during the year, I found a difference in my engagement with this practice. Earlier, there used to be times when the repetition of the mantra would go on mechanically and my mind would drift to various thoughts.
As I continue to focus on this practice, I now see that my mind finds rest when I pay attention or when I inwardly listen to my own repetition. That is when I feel nectar releasing from the syllables of the mantra, and I have the experience of being “recharged” and my heart “nourished.”
a Gurukula student in Gurudev Siddha Peeth
“Recharge! Nourish your heart.” This line of Gurumayi’s Message found me while I was recovering from a respiratory illness. I felt depleted and tired, yet I longed to “nourish my heart.”
I stepped out into my garden one morning and was amazed to see a huge white blossom on a tree that had never bloomed in twenty-six years. That beauty and sense of wonder gave me a clue about how to “recharge” my heart.
A second experience occurred when I was preparing to sing Shri Mahalakshmi Stotram. Initially I thought I would only listen, as I felt unable to sing. Yet, as the introduction to this wonderful hymn began, the verses started to sing themselves through my voice—as if the hymn had a voice of its own. It filled me with awe and joy, for it was a voice distinct from my own, and it was brimming with shakti!
By the final verses, I realized it was indeed my own voice, singing with enthusiasm. The Guru’s grace accompanied and supported me in my sincere longing to “nourish my heart.”

Oh, yes! The perfect teaching for me: “Recharge! Nourish your heart.”
First for me is breathing.
Inhaling love, exhaling exhaustion.
Then, inhaling pure air, filled with contentment, with gratitude, and exhaling the same.
Feeling good again, I listen to the music of my precious heart:
tam-tam, I love, tam-tam, I am.
And only good remains.
New York, United States
Recently I had the good fortune to stay in a Siddha Yoga Ashram over a long weekend, and to chant, meditate, offer seva, and have satsang with other Siddha Yoga students. It was a sublime way to “nourish my heart” through good company and uplifting practices.
Toward the end of my time there, I saw in meditation a great field of shining, beautiful flame throughout the space and throughout my being. Contemplating this golden, living flame, I understand that the shakti within me is revealed and “recharged” when I am open to enjoying the blessings of this path. As many times as I turn inside with surrender and wonder, grace unfolds in unstinting abundance.

Studying Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 has created powerful paradigm shifts within me. Contemplation of every line of the Message has brought me back to taking refuge in the Self. Every practice and every contemplation have brought me back to focusing on pure awareness—realizing I am that awareness.
Being grateful to Gurumayi for revealing the Truth of who I am “nourishes my heart.”
Listening to the music posted on the Siddha Yoga path website and studying what Gurumayi teaches through her music “nourish my heart.”
Becoming disengaged from my mind and watching my reactions, rather than identifying with them, “nourish my heart.”
Taking refuge in the teachings and scriptural texts of the Siddha Yoga path and reaping the fruits of what they reveal “nourish my heart.”
The experience of living as the changeless in this changing body with a mind that continually fluctuates—this “nourishes my heart.”
This practice of assimilation is so powerful!
New Jersey, United States
By lighting a flame on my puja altar every morning, and making the intention to be full of Goddess Lakshmi’s light, I have “nourished my heart.”
I was feeling a contrast between the vigor of the word Recharge and the gentleness I associate with the words Nourish your heart. But now I remember the gentleness and tenderness I feel after taking part in Shaktipat Intensives, and I know that to “recharge” is to be close to the grace that ignites the flame in my heart.
I also realize how this third line of Gurumayi’s Message leads me to the last line, and that each line of the entire Message can serve as my intention for this world.
Warrnambool, Australia
On the day I began to focus on assimilating the third line of Gurumayi’s Message, “Recharge! Nourish your heart,” I was waving my arati tray to Bade Baba’s murti on my puja altar. A prayer came up within me: “May I offer arati with a pure heart.”
With this prayer something inside me released, relaxed. The prayer felt like an answer to how to truly offer myself to this practice. Then I began to see ties between the flame on the arati tray, the flame in my heart, and Gurumayi’s instruction to nourish my heart. I see that by wanting to offer pure love, I am naturally “nourishing my heart.”
North Carolina, United States
I believe that every cell in my body carries the memory of a lifetime of both good and bad experiences. To heal, I have learned the power of the pause. I stop, contemplate, feel the emotion fully, and then release it. In that empty space, I “recharge.” Through intentions, mantras, and meditation, my heart finally feels ready to be nourished.
Today, I choose to enjoy life to the absolute fullest, embracing whatever each moment brings. I accept who I truly am, and I accept others exactly as they are. Life is a breathtaking gift.
George, South Africa
On my morning walks I repeat Gurumayi’s Message. As I say each line to myself, I slow myself down to see what arises, and something new, related to each line of the Message, always gets my attention.
Without fail, when I repeat this third line—”Recharge! Nourish your heart”—I smile and actually laugh a little. In this frame of happiness, I think about all I am grateful for—all the people and places and animals I love—and in doing so, without trying, I find that my heart is being completely nourished, preparing me for the next line in the Message.
South Melbourne, Australia
How to “recharge”? If we wish to recharge a phone or laptop, we always connect the device with a current of electricity. For me recharge means to connect with the Self while doing any work. Recharge means becoming aware of the Self at any time, receiving energy from the Self.
How do I “recharge”? Through daily sadhana—a long, deep meditation, mantra japa, periods of silence, yearning for Self-realization, reading and contemplating the Guru’s words, and maintaining witness awareness.
Once I take time to connect with the inner light, the Self, with Shri Guru, automatically my heart receives nourishment.
How to check whether my heart has received nourishment? Once my heart experiences an abundance of happiness, contentment, and peace, that means my heart has received nourishment. For me, real nourishment of my heart occurs when my sense of limitations and dualism dissolves in the powerful light of Shri Gurumayi.
Ahmedabad, India
Life had been feeling a bit flat and dry lately. There are always challenges, but basically my life is very good.
Each morning I repeat Gurumayi’s Message. As I was repeating it this morning, I was following along with the guidance of each line. When I got to “Recharge! Nourish your heart,” I noticed that I was only going through a brief moment of feeling my heart. Oh! I realized that this was the effort that has been missing. I began to practice the third line throughout my day. Doing this has warmed up my heart and my life.
I am so grateful to Gurumayi for inviting us to spend time on each line of her Message in this way.
Minnesota, United States
What “recharges” and “nourishes my heart” is silence. In silence I enjoy being with myself. I become like a peaceful lake, and this peace allows me to “recharge” my energy.
Milan, Italy
As I was simply sitting with the image of the third line of Gurumayi’s Message on the Siddha Yoga path website, this came up.
“Recharge! Nourish your heart”
is nourishing my heart;
the warmth of the orange color
gives trust, is opening,
makes me smile.
The steady golden flame,
the doorway leads to light.
A golden garden.
So sweet to wander.
Deggendorf, Germany
When I read this line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 aloud, my voice takes on a different, much gentler tone. It feels as though I can relax, as if the Guru wants me to relax. I experience that I can let go of the drive to relentlessly do things and constantly get tasks done. Just hearing that gentleness in my own voice allows my body and mind to relax.
Cologne, Germany
I have been trying various methods to find out how I can “nourish my heart.” For instance, I have been performing certain hatha yoga asanas that are helpful for opening the heart.
Through my attempts to discover how to “nourish my heart,” I have come to realize that there are different levels in attaining this goal. Through practicing hatha yoga, taking regular walks, and consistently doing a bit of exercise, I can keep my heart muscle fit. Through regular meditation, I can nourish my heart in a more subtle way. Even by doing routine things with a lot of love, I can nourish my heart. And when I combine all of this with mantra repetition, I can nourish my heart in a lasting way.
Konolfingen, Switzerland
When I reflected on the third line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, “Recharge! Nourish your heart,” I felt invited to look gently at what I allow to fill my heart each day. Sometimes, the demands of life leave me feeling inwardly tired. In those moments, returning to meditation, repeating the mantra, and remembering Shri Guru are ways to help me reconnect with a deeper sense of peace. I feel my heart is nourished when I make room for devotion, gratitude, compassion, and love.
Contemplating Gurumayi’s words has helped me recognize that spiritual nourishment can begin in a simple moment of turning inward and remembering the grace that is always present. “Recharge!” reminds me to pause and restore my inner strength. “Nourish your heart” encourages me to care for the love and devotion that sustain my sadhana.
With this understanding, I wish to move through each day with greater tenderness toward myself and others, allowing Gurumayi’s teachings to guide my thoughts, words, and actions. May my heart remain open to grace, and may devotion continue to deepen within me.
Ahmedabad, India
I love this part of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026: “Recharge! Nourish your heart.” I “nourish my heart” by spending quality time with close friends and co-workers. I go for japa walks in nature, visit friends, and share a good meal with them. These are some of the precious ways that “nourish my heart.”
St. Laurent, Canada
I feel so blessed in receiving the divine grace to listen to chants with Gurumayi that are available online through streaming every day! For me, this is the most uplifting way to “recharge” and “nourish my heart”!
Maine, United States
“Observing” first, before I act, has helped me to be kinder and to be more discerning in my speech and actions.
As I practice Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, line by line, on the Siddha Yoga Path website with the global sangham, I feel I am surrounded by the Guru’s love.

For me this image is like a piece of ice that’s had a beautiful mountainous scene formed within it.
In the last few weeks, I have been keeping the people and landscapes of Nepal and the Himalayas in my mind and prayers. I’ve read that the structure of the mountainsides in that region is supported by the ice itself.
Contemplating the second line of Gurumayi’s Message with this image, I understand that observing spiritual practices and “upholding my dharma” are a contribution to maintaining the balance of the world. I can hold the awareness that each time I remember to repeat the mantra, something of goodness and beauty is held and made firmer, both in the outer world and inside my own being.
Watson, Australia
From the very first moment I received Gurumayi’s Message in Sweet Surprise from my beloved Gurumayi ji, this second line has stayed with me.
The direction “Observe!” has taught me to become a witness, to simply observe rather than getting carried away by the daunting thoughts that my mind sometimes creates, especially during difficult days when my emotional balance has been shaken. Being an observer gives me space, clarity, and stability.
The next sentence, “Uphold your dharma,” has guided me further. In challenging situations where my understanding of my own dharma was tested, the guidance of my Shri Guru illuminated the right path. I was able to navigate a difficult circumstance with greater awareness, strength, courage, and clarity of mind.
Pune, India
I’m noticing that the act of “observing” automatically brings me into the present moment. It is a blessed place to be.
Shanklin, United Kingdom
To me “upholding my dharma” means doing the right thing, at the right time, in the right way, and with the right intention and motivation. I apply this in even simple actions, such as warmly greeting another person while inwardly wishing them well; vacuuming the carpet with the intention of making my environment more peaceful; doing my best to maintain a focused, positive, and undisturbed state of mind.
I strive to “uphold my dharma” by consistently looking for the best in others and sharing love with them.
0hio, United States
Throughout the year, I have been observing and practicing being true to myself whether I am with other people or by myself. I constantly remind myself with a simple “Yes” or “No.” I carry out what my duty—my dharma—requires in the moment, savoring and enjoying that moment.
My body relaxes and my mind feels lighter.
George, South Africa
Sometimes the course of right action feels difficult when events in my life go against my plans or expectations. In such times, recalling my intention to “uphold my dharma,” I am inspired to repeat the mantra or an affirmation. This helps me stay steadfast and maintain inner poise.
California, United States
Each morning as I physicalize “Observe!” from Gurumayi’s Message, I imagine myself on a mountaintop, feeling the strength of the earth “upholding” me as I scan the horizon. I carefully watch each of the elements before me, abiding naturally and easefully as they “uphold their dharma.”
To physicalize “Uphold your dharma,” I imagine raising high a golden chalice containing the precious nectar I obtain from “upholding my dharma” through large and small actions. And just as the elements that constitute this earth uphold their dharma, so I invoke the same elements within me to uphold their dharma in the coming hours of the day.
This physicalization fills me with great peace and strength—a daily reminder to take the seat of auspicious responsibility in aligning my actions naturally and easefully with my own dharma.
California, United States
When I look back on this year, I realize I went through a period when everything around my professional life seemed to be changing at a very fast and decisive pace. Whenever I felt uncertain about how to approach each day, I would return to the second line of Gurumayi’s Message. I would remind myself to “observe” throughout that day and to focus on “upholding my dharma.”
These four words became a guiding principle for me, helping me to navigate that period. More recently, exploring this same line has led me to renew my commitment to, and enthusiasm for, offering seva.
California, United States
When I heard and then read the second line from Gurumayi’s Message at the beginning of the year, I thought it encouraged me to “observe” the outside world—what life offered me—in order to best respond to it in a dharmic way.
Then, after I had contemplated the same words throughout the year, another understanding arose: to “observe” my inner world and how it responds to what is happening in the outer world; to “observe” the thoughts that get repeated, the emotions and the “inner enemies” (such as anger or jealousy) that may arise; and to welcome them into my awareness. As a result of doing this, I see their power weakening and sometimes even disappearing.
Doing my sadhana cleanses my inner world, and to me, that’s my dharma.
Saint-Etienne-de-Crossey, France
I consider that one part of my dharma is to follow the Ashram Daily Schedule since I now have the great fortune to live in a Siddha Yoga Ashram. Each day during the seva periods, my dharma is to offer seva under the mentorship of two elders.
I devised a way to pin all the tasks that need attention onto a corkboard. They are organized in lists for different people and with different levels of timeliness. For me, looking at this each day is a way to “observe” what is needed. Then, carrying out the tasks with love and teamwork is one way for me to “uphold my dharma.”
California, United States
In my sadhana, I have learnt that when I protect dharma, dharma protects me. That is why it is important for me to live, and fulfill my obligations, in accordance with my dharma.
Part of my dharma is to visit my mother regularly at the care home where she lives. When I entered my mother’s room today, she was lying on the bed with her hands folded; she said to me, her eyes shining, “I prayed so deeply to God that you would come and visit me today.”
Because I fulfilled my dharma, I was there just when she’d hoped, and I feel that is why I received so much love from my mother at that moment.
Konolfingen, Switzerland
Today the sky where I live was the same blue as the background color for the second line of Gurumayi’s Message. And suspended in the blue was a heart-shaped cloud. Because of Gurumayi’s teachings, whenever I see a “heart in nature,” I remember what I understand to be my highest dharma—to love the Self in all.
This evening, I reflected on my day as I sat outside beneath the stars. I acknowledged myself for having taken a genuine interest in a loved one’s story, and recalled how the many teachings on the Siddha Yoga path website in 2026 have taken me deeper into my experience of seeing God in others.

The word observe has meaning beyond “see, watch, perceive, or notice.” It also means “celebrate, show regard for” as in “to observe a holiday.”
In addition to “upholding my dharma” and “observing” to ascertain what it is and what faces me, I am also learning to celebrate my dharma—what I have upheld, what has presented itself to me, what has occurred, and that which faces me—now.

When I first read this second line of Gurumayi’s Message, I wondered why Gurumayi chose “Observe!” in relation to “Uphold your dharma.”
Contemplating this, I then remembered seeing signs in public libraries: “Please observe silence.” I understood silence as a necessity in a library, as an action that benefited me as well as my fellow library-goers. Likewise, “upholding my dharma,” my right action, is something I do not only for myself but also for the benefit of all.

I savor reading the Message in the silver font. I enjoy feeling the cooling breeze on my mind.

For about four months, I had been involved in a sort of relationship, a connection made up of ambiguous communications. So last evening, I decided to open up and declare my feelings. Contrary to what I had thought, there was a huge misunderstanding; there was no romance at all.
I wept bitterly over this disillusionment, as it had deeply affected my state of mind. I asked, with all my heart: “Gurumayi, why? What am I meant to understand?”
This morning, in meditation, the first line of Gurumayi’s Message came to me—”Renew! Reset your mind.”—and everything became clear. That was the answer I needed.
I fully embraced this teaching, and my heart grew calm. I still feel some pain from the situation, but I am grateful that tomorrow the satsangs resume at the Siddha Yoga meditation center in my city. This is where I find my sanctuary, my home, my soul friends, and so much truth and joy.
I am very grateful that my prayer was answered so immediately.
San Giorgio a Cremano, Italy
Today I asked myself what I have learned so far from my reflection on the first line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026. I discovered that my understanding of “Renew!” is that it is Shri Gurumayi’s direction to me to get out of the grip of old impressions and patterns and to work toward changing my perception of myself and how I see the world. Since my perception is how I experience reality, it must change in order for me to experience the Truth. This requires me to be open and receptive toward grace, which is guiding me in so many ways.
“Reset your mind,” for me, means to return to the original state, my core, my Self again and again. It encourages me to allow my mind to be purified through the remembrance of Shri Guru’s teachings, which awaken and inspire my mind. It also involves doing the Siddha Yoga practices in order to eventually purify my mind so that the experience of the Self becomes more and more accessible.

I looked up the etymology of the word observe and was surprised at what I found: ob-, as a prefix, means “toward,” “in front of,” or “over.” And servāre means “to watch,” “to keep safe,” “to guard,” or “to pay attention to.” From this, I realized that observation is an active, alert process. It requires great care and vigilance, like keeping an eye on a night fire or making sure a child remains safe.
So, if to observe means to practice paying loving, watchful attention, then doing this can reveal to me what action to take that best serves the needs of the moment. This also underscores to me that my dharma is not like an inanimate block of stone or a specific set course of action that must be followed. It is a very active, constantly unfolding, moment-to-moment practice.

Observe has become such a key word for me. It inspires me to find out what it is I am to do in this world and then to take the steps to do that, without rushing or procrastinating. I am learning to stay close to God’s will, wait for clarity to come, and then move forward.

As I contemplated this line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, a quiet feeling arose within me. I felt as though her words were inviting me to pause and look within, rather than trying to change the circumstances around me.
Often, when I sit for meditation, I repeat the mantra and try to “observe” the thoughts, emotions, and reactions that arise within me. Sometimes my mind is peaceful and sometimes it becomes restless. Yet I am learning not to suppress or fight with whatever arises, but simply to watch with awareness.
For me, to “observe” means keeping the light of awareness alive within myself. The remainder of this line, “Uphold your dharma,” reminds me that right action should not be abandoned according to circumstances but should be sustained with love and steadiness. It has now become a daily practice for me to “observe,” understand, and then choose the right action.
My heartfelt prayer is that Gurumayi’s grace will keep me steady in my dharma and give me the strength to bring greater awareness, love, and surrender into every action.

I recently began practicing the first line of Gurumayi’s Message in a new way. For months my inner being had been telling me to chant and meditate, but I did not take that initiative.
I have been caring for my elderly mother for many years, and sometimes it is quite stressful. My sister suggested I meditate for at least five minutes a day, but in my mind, I did not see how it would help.
On Krishna Janmashtami, however, I remembered how in Gurudev Siddha Peeth, we would always chant, even after a long day of seva. So, even though one part of me was saying, “You can’t afford to get tired! You have so much work tomorrow,” I chanted. At the end of the chant, I remembered Gurumayi ji always said to sit quietly after the chant, so I meditated.
The next morning, I felt fresh and energetic, and the stress was gone. I chanted again, this time with my mother, which made her very happy. Now, I make time every day to chant and meditate—on my own and with my mother.

One of the ways I like to “reset” my mind and “renew” my perspective is by playing creative exercises related to how I perceive myself and the world. The inspirations for these exercises often arise spontaneously—after engaging in the Siddha Yoga practices or from reading Gurumayi’s and Baba’s teachings.
For example, recently, I had the inspiration to approach each day with the understanding that there is only one person on this whole planet and to view everything I see and experience from the perspective of being this one person.
This perspective released so much excitement and joy! Every encounter and interaction—with another person, an animal, the sky, the wind—became highly significant, as I experienced them as extensions of my own being, as the Self, coming to tell me something I needed to know. I experienced myself and every moment of my life as so precious, as a great treasure.
I’m grateful for these divinely creative inspirations that can completely “reset” my mind and “renew” my connection with the gift that is my life.

I assimilate “Renew! Reset your mind” by practicing the first line in Gurumayi’s Message for 2024, “Stand tall in your dignity.”
This calms my mind, and it’s a practice I do when I remember it during the day, regardless of what position I am in, whether standing, sitting, or lying down.

At the beginning of the year, I was fascinated by the deeper meaning revealed through the Hindi translation of “Renew! Reset your mind.” To me, the Hindi words can be understood in this way: “Fill yourself with new vitality and enthusiasm; bring your mind into rhythm and harmony.”
Over the past nine months, daily meditation has become my way of renewing my energy and returning to that inner harmony. My life as a householder moves through many seasons—days that are busy or restful, tiring or light, short or long. In the midst of it all, balance and consistency can sometimes be the hardest things for me to sustain.
With this practice, I am not denying life’s responsibilities or waiting for circumstances to become easier. On the contrary, I meet each day—whatever it brings—with renewed energy, openness, and the willingness to begin again with joy.
Meditation has become my steady place to return to—a way to replenish myself, settle the mind, and meet the demands of daily life with greater balance, presence, and enthusiasm.

When I heard the first line of Shri Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, “Renew! Reset your mind,” something touched my heart deeply. It felt as though Shri Guru was lovingly reminding me that whenever my mind becomes restless or lost in old thoughts, I can always bring it back to the Guru’s presence.
There are times when my mind becomes tired and caught in memories, worries, and unnecessary thoughts. Yet, when I sit for meditation, repeat the mantra, and remember Shri Guru, I feel something within me becoming lighter and quieter. I begin to experience that every moment can be a new beginning.
For me, “Renew! Reset your mind” is not simply a teaching for one year. It is a daily invitation to renew my thoughts, return to the present moment, and place my mind once again at the feet of Shri Guru.
My heartfelt prayer is: “Shri Guru, whenever my mind wanders, lovingly bring me back to your remembrance.”

The first line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 has been a particular inspiration for me this year. At the start of the year, I was keen to start afresh, mentally and emotionally, after a challenging 2025. When I first received Gurumayi’s Message, I knew Gurumayi was giving me the grace to do just that.
As the year has progressed, I have noticed how empowering Gurumayi’s Message has been for me in any moment. When I catch my mind going off in an unnecessary direction, I remember Gurumayi’s teaching to “reset your mind.” In this practice of remembrance there is such grace, and I find I am both willing and able to follow Gurumayi’s guidance.
I have discovered many benefits, such as a new perspective opening up or the ability to be more lighthearted about something. Most of all, in remembering and following Gurumayi’s teaching, I have felt a greater day-to-day connection with my inner Self, my heart.

The meaning of the word reset has always been a positive one for me. For example, I have enjoyed how I can easily reset my computer to clear an error and start again. In the practice of hatha yoga, a “reset” can mean a very slight adjustment to achieve better alignment, which in turn brings more energy to a pose.
When Gurumayi introduced her Message for 2026, Ì found the first line “Renew! Reset your mind” so encouraging! Ever since, I have tried to “reset my mind” with breath and mantra repetition, especially. This practice invariably calms and soothes me and brings me to my heart.
I am very grateful to Gurumayi for this wonderful teaching and practice.

This teaching from Gurumayi in the first line of her Message for 2026 has helped me in my day-to-day interactions with others. It has helped me to become more intentional about listening to others’ opinions before responding, seeking to fully understand situations before making judgments, and remaining open to different perspectives. As I practice this teaching, I have noticed improvements in my relationships and a sense of respect in my interactions with others. I am grateful.

This luscious green background for “Renew! Reset your mind” has such vibrancy and vitality.
Today as I follow my lovely early morning routine, I am drawn to notice more precisely the most minute details of this routine. Moving a little more slowly, I observe the light that glows from my lamps, the soft textures of my meditation shawls, the smooth, cool sensation of water as it slides down my throat, and the sensation of deep contentment as I settle into meditation.
In this way I “reset” my awareness to this moment, and this moment, and this moment—each an opportunity to reconnect directly and immediately with the ever-present sea of Consciousness.

As I gazed at the first line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 on the Siddha Yoga path website, I was drawn to the color green in the background and the interwoven image of trees and leaves. This reminded me of nature and how it is forever renewing itself in every season, year after year, with such precision. Leaves fall in one season, and fresh leaves appear in another. For me, this reflection demonstrates how I can learn from nature to constantly “renew” and “reset my mind.”

As I reflected on Gurumayi’s teaching, “Renew! Reset your mind,” I felt an immediate sense of ease. This feeling deepened during a walk I took up into the Outeniqua Mountains. Looking up from the path, I saw something breathtaking. It seemed as if the sun had come down to kiss Mother Earth. Golden plants, Leucadendron, stretched across the lush green slopes as far as the eye could see. I felt entirely one with the scene and truly a part of nature. This experience felt like a beautiful fruit of my sadhana. Now, I will bring this image into my morning meditations along with the feeling that came with it—expecting nothing and welcoming the peace that arises in an effortless effort.

I have been encouraging my mind to enjoy moments of silence. I reassure my mind that it is through silence that I can truly feel its greatness and strength—far more so than through its clever thoughts or brilliant solutions to problems.
My mind is trusting me more and more, and so it lets go of thoughts more easily, allowing them to return to the silence from which they arose.

As someone who spends a large part of the day on the computer, I really resonated with the first line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026. In my experience, after a computer is asked to perform a long series of complex steps, it sometimes becomes “confused.” In those cases it becomes incapable of doing what it is supposed to do. So, the only solution is to reboot it.
In a similar way, my mind can get fixated on a worry or negative thought. Yet, with the help of Gurumayi’s Message, I am discovering that I can “reset my mind.” I can do this not just through trying to stop thinking about my issues, but also by visualizing my mind as being cleaned out and emptied, reset, and ready to receive brand-new positive thoughts that will lead me forward.

I have been asking myself what it is that I have learned or experienced so far from studying and practicing Gurumayi’s Message for 2026. From the first line, I believe that I am learning how to allow my mind to “reset” by letting go of thoughts and expectations and receiving the vibrations of the heart.
I’ve realized that “resetting the mind” isn’t something I only need to do actively and with effort; it is also something I can allow to take place, by being open and receptive to the love arising from within. I am “renewed” by this love over and again.

This morning I discovered a new way of listening. I recognized that, normally, my mind interprets my feelings and creates a story, which it then follows. Today, instead of engaging with my mind, I simply watched the experience moving through my body and reminded myself that I am love and I can choose to project that love. This choice feels aligned with who I want to be and brings a sense of calm connection within.

The daily study
of a single verse
of Shri Guru Gita
can “reset” the content
of my beautiful mind.
The wisdom of the verse
focuses the power
of my attention,
directing my awareness
inward,
toward the precious
diamond light rays
of my own Self.
Shri Guru Gita
is like a holy river
where my mind
can take a purifying bath.
“Renewed.”
All the unworthy
contents of my mind
washed away
by the mighty river—
the knowledge
of my Self.
To reflect profoundly,
on one verse,
is to experience
the vastness
of the universe that is available
within each single word.

When I saw the first line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 on the Siddha Yoga path website, the beautiful green background instantly reminded me of being in nature. I then realized that I have been practicing this teaching all year, although it hadn’t occurred to me until today.
After work each day, I take my dog for a walk in the woods, and I often practice japa as I walk. When I am in the company of the tall trees and ponds of water, I always feel “renewed,” and my mind becomes clear or “reset” after the busyness of the day.
I’m grateful for the realization that I have been practicing this line of Gurumayi’s Message in such a tangible way each day. I cherish this practice.

The glorious green image of the first line of Gurumayi’s Message looks like an emerald with the forest lovingly etched into it. Seeing it, I feel my whole being relaxing with a deep sense of refreshment.
As I reflect on the first line in this way, it is easier to remember to relate to my mind as a precious gift and as an exquisite gem of such artistry. May I always set within it the most beautiful thoughts. May I appreciate the nature of my mind as a form of divine Consciousness. May I include each fresh movement of my mind as part of this magnificence. May I lead my mind back to the light of Shri Guru’s teachings.

As I contemplated Rohini’s guidance for this month of September and the first line of Gurumayi’s Message, in my mind’s eye I saw an endless field of exquisite flowers of every variety and brilliant color! They were all swaying in a soft breeze, all bowing to the Lord as they offered their scents to the air enfolding them.
Looking back at this year, I became aware that all of the challenges I experienced were the nourishing fertilizer for these seedlings, supporting their growth into the exquisite field of magnificence before the inner eye of my heart.
I saw that each of these glowing flowers is an aspect of my inner Self.

While contemplating the first line of Gurumayi’s Message, I asked myself, “How have I worked on ’renewing’ and ’resetting’?” Today as I walked on my terrace, I felt aligned with the cool breeze and the silence of the dawn. I felt I am not different from the air around me. I could see oneness in nature around me. I also have fewer opinions and more understanding.

While researching the word “reset,” I was reminded of one of its uses in computer terminology: a password reset.
I realize that the mantra and the teachings of the Guru are ways to “reset” the language I use to describe and experience life situations—becoming like passwords that take me to the heart.
Today, as I made the effort to understand a situation that has been bothering me, I felt a gentle touch of grace in my thoughts. I held onto these new, gentle words that came to me and felt renewed. I am grateful to be guided by the Self with so much love.

Since the beginning of the year, I have been studying Gurumayi’s Message through personal reflection, contemplation, and participation in Sadhana Circles. It has been a transformative journey. Layer by layer, new understanding keeps revealing itself.
The first word of each of the four lines of the Message—“Renew!” “Observe!” “Recharge!” “Witness!”—has become a beacon for me. These beacons live in my heart, rising up naturally, especially in the moments I need them most.
In the flow of daily life, I find myself pausing—to check whether I am on track, to quickly weigh my options, and to choose the best step forward.
As I have studied and practiced Gurumayi’s Message with sincerity and care, it has been revealing a profound depth that is quietly transforming everything for me.

After hearing Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 in January, I thought a great way to “reset my mind” would be to focus more and more on the mantra. Now I’ve realized that through this practice, my mind has indeed been reset from the lethargic, frightened place it was in to a lighter, more energetic space from which new and positive actions are flowing. I have been feeling happy for months! I feel that this reset happened through the Guru’s grace.

I recently had an experience of the final line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026.
I have been contemplating the nature and blessings of light. As I was meditating, I experienced a sense of woundedness in some dark areas of my being that I hadn’t visited for some time.
As I found the courage to look at them, and allowed myself to feel the hurt, all of a sudden, they became radiant with light! What I saw was whole gardens of flowers bursting through each one, in full blossom and lit up, as though light had taken the form of flowers.
I understood that I am being asked to bring the light of my awareness to the apparent darkness, the most painful places—and that making this effort will be answered with living light.

I am focusing on implementing the first line of Gurumayi’s Message in a creative way throughout my day. I do this by remembering and physicalizing, “Reset your mind,” and then lightly stamping my foot. This causes me to stop in my tracks, drop superfluous thinking, and move forward with a strong resolve to stay in my stambha, my luminous center. When I do this, I often experience an animated feeling of being an invincible character akin to a “Wonder Woman” Siddha. It is fun and potent for me!
Employing this has generated a momentum that increases every time I practice it, and it helps me to remember to return to mantra japa. I practice this physicalization when entering our home, when going down our stairs, and while doing everyday tasks like washing dishes or opening the computer.
The power of more consistent repetition of the mantra is helping me maintain an elevated state that can withstand emotional ups and downs.

Since Deepavali 2025, I have been studying Jnaneshvari, the commentary on the Bhagavad Gita by Jnaneshvar Maharaj. After receiving Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, I started contemplating it along with the Bhagavad Gita.
For me, Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 reflects the essence of the Bhagavad Gita in four lines! In the beginning, Arjuna is despondent and so, in an early chapter, Lord Krishna tells him to shed the weakness of his mind, which, to me, is like saying, “Reset your mind.”
In the next few chapters Lord Krishna tells Arjuna in various ways to “uphold his dharma” as a warrior. This corresponds closely to the second line of Gurumayi’s Message. In the sixth chapter, Lord Krishna instructs Arjuna in the yoga of meditation, which I understand to be one way to “nourish your heart.”
In later chapters, Lord Krishna teaches Arjuna that “Nothing exists that is not Shiva,” and that Arjuna should see the Lord everywhere and in everything. I believe that, in doing this, Arjuna would be implementing the fourth line of Gurumayi’s Message.

As I held Gurumayi‘s Message for 2026 in my awareness every day, my playfulness and creativity led me to look at it from different angles. I saw that the first letters of each line of her Message—R-O-R-W—sounded like a great lion roaring in the midst of my daily challenges.
I am grateful to my beloved Gurumayi for reminding me about the great power within, which enables me to rise above old identifications and worries.

A few days ago, I was preparing to recite Shri Guru Gita with the Siddha Yoga CD. Before the recitation began, I happened to read the text on the CD cover in which Baba describes the power of svadhyaya to “nourish the inner heart.” It reminded me of the third line of Gurumayi’s Message: “Recharge! Nourish your heart.”
Before the recitation, I had been feeling uneasy. Afterward, I felt truly different: content, sweet, balanced. I cherished this experience by consciously remaining seated for some time, absorbing the feeling. I still could feel it when I moved on to my chores. I felt that Gurumayi’s Message was present in me with this recitation of Shri Guru Gita.

For me, Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 is like a set of four gem-studded cards. Each day, I choose how I want to experience my state of being that day by focusing on one of the four “gem cards.”
One day I chose to practice the first line of Gurumayi’s Message by refreshing my outlook toward my family. Looking through this new “lens” has changed the way I dealt with situations. On other days, I resolved to apply the second line by giving my best to every single meeting and chat at work, and avoiding getting caught in my preconceived contractions, fears, and assumptions. On yet another day, I followed Gurumayi’s guidance in the last line by holding the awareness that I don’t need to get caught up in my familiar web of expectations. Instead, I can watch myself as the “witness” rather than the doer.
In all of these, I experienced a state of freedom, peace, and joy. I am so grateful to my Shri Guru for so compassionately, constantly, and consistently showing me the way.

While focusing on Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, I imagined the first word of the first and third lines appearing in a prism. When I did this, the word Reset emanated distinct rays of light. Each ray contained one of the virtues I have been studying: respect, patience, and compassion.
The lights from the prism that emanated from the word Recharge were filled with the practices which help me implement the third line of Gurumayi’s Message. These include repeating the mantra, focusing on my devotion to Gurumayi, and experiencing gratitude.
I’m looking forward to doing this with the remaining two verses.

Recently, each time I prepare to sit for meditation, I repeat Shri Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 in both English and Hindi. I also repeat Om several times. When I do this, I often find myself passing into a deep state of silence and serenity.
A few days back, as I was contemplating Gurumayi’s Message, a thought came spontaneously into my mind that I could associate each of my Siddha Yoga practices with the Message. Specifically, I decided to associate mantra japa with the Message’s first line, dakshina with the second, chanting and seva with the third, and meditation with the fourth line. I have already started doing this, and it has filled me with great happiness.
Focusing on implementing it in this way is opening the door for more contemplation, assimilation, and greater experiences of the Self, both in my sadhana and in daily activities. I am so grateful to Shri Gurumayi for her Message for 2026.

Since receiving Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, I have been looking for an opportunity to go deeper in my meditation on her Message.
That opportunity came during meditation in a Reflection Satsang for Sweet Surprise. I was repeating Gurumayi’s Message in my mind, and suddenly a question arose: “How shall I practice each part of the Message?” I kept repeating the Message, and then a strong vibration filled my mind and body with new, fresh energy. Along with the lines of the Message, these words resonated within me:
Practice meditation and silence.
Practice seva while repeating God’s name.
Practice chanting with enthusiasm.
Practice dakshina and selfless giving.
The Message became so clear and vibrant to me that I was awestruck with joy and enthusiasm. I want to hold these words close to my heart and watch them unfold in my sadhana. I am ever grateful to Gurumayi for her teachings, which guide me to attain new realms.

I see the words of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 dancing and sparkling, emitting soft insights and direction. The experience is quite magical and full of delight! I am mystified and in awe of the power of grace and self-effort, and I look forward to this coming year with curiosity for what lies around the bend!

The two words that stood out for me in Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 were “Reset” and “Recharge.” When I held these words in my awareness for a while, what came up immediately was mantra japa.
For me, mantra japa is a way of “resetting” and “recharging” my mind and heart. As a way of practicing this regularly, I have decided to repeat the mantra Om Namah Shivaya eleven times whenever I sit down for an activity, whether it is having breakfast, sitting on a train, sitting down to do my work, or even before watching television.
When I remember to do it, even after just eleven repetitions I feel the stirrings of Kundalini Shakti strongly in the region of my forehead. This focuses my mind for the activity I am about to do.
I am grateful to Gurumayi for her precious Message for 2026.

For me, Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 is directing me to reinvent how I live life altogether.
I was in Gurudev Siddha Peeth earlier this month and had the opportunity to explore Gurumayi’s Message with children. We discussed how to implement the first word “Renew!” in our most basic daily activities. When I had to return to England, I sensed an unsettled feeling within. I kept asking Bade Baba to travel with me.
What unsettled me was my old way of operating in life. I was not afraid of going far by plane; I was afraid of straying away internally. The calling to get deeper into my sadhana became clear. I resolved to change my daily schedule to integrate more spiritual practices throughout the day and to change my ways of doing the most basic activities, just as we had explored with the children!
Mysteriously, the flight back to England was fully packed—only the seat next to me was empty—as if Bade Baba did travel with me after all!

As I was contemplating Gurumayi’s Message, the word effort came forth. And the word ”Reset” from the first line of the Message resonates often in my mind. Now, I make a true effort to look at my thoughts, keep what is positive, and remember: I am the pure light of God.
I feel that the four lines of the Message reunify my entire being: mind, body, heart, and consciousness. It’s as if before, the practices were on one side and my daily activities on the other, and they were not always aligned. To me, the four words at the beginning of each line give me direction on how to embody the teachings and make the effort to bring them alive in my thoughts, actions, and feelings—keeping in mind that I am the light of Consciousness.
For me, the Message contains the essence of the teachings and practices of Siddha Yoga. When I read and remember the Message every day, I am drawn inside to the purpose of my life—to live by the teachings, remember who I am, and focus on only one desire: liberation.

Ever since I received Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, my longing to be established in a state of union with God has been strong. I have been repeating Gurumayi’s Message at various times of the day, and I am finding that tender feelings come up for the people around me. As these feelings manifest in kind words and loving actions toward my friends, family members, and others, they simultaneously nurture my own heart.
Now, when I encounter unpleasant life circumstances, I tell myself, “Reset your mind.” I find I am then able to view the situation with detachment and move on with my life.
It has been less than a month since I received this Message, but I am already experiencing its power. It is my experience that Gurumayi gives teachings that contain her full support to live them in my daily life.

It was divine to receive Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 from my beloved Guru and to have her darshan. As I heard the Message, I felt its depth and its power, and I knew instantly that I will need to make sincere and serious efforts to imbibe it.
Day after day, as I am repeating Gurumayi’s Message to myself, I am experiencing its richness. I can feel how it is wrapped with my Guru’s grace and love.

When I first heard Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, I felt centered, grounded, enthusiastic, and poised to begin. As a way to experience Gurumayi’s guidance in her Message, I’ve connected each line to a Siddha Yoga practice.
When my thoughts begin to race, I think of the first line of Gurumayi’s Message and take a moment to meditate or practice mantra japa. When I think of the second line of the Message, I feel inspired and eager to offer seva as a way of carrying out right action. When I think of the third line of the Message, a smile crosses my face and I want to chant! Chanting always touches my being.
For me, svadhyaya—the study of the Self—feels directly tied to the fourth line of Gurumayi’s Message. As I listen to and recite sacred texts, I become more familiar with the levels of my consciousness and notice how my awareness is uplifted by the texts themselves.
Each practice brings me closer to the experience of Gurumayi’s Message and to the goal of Siddha Yoga sadhana.

Since receiving the Message on January 1, I have slowly added one line at a time as I meditate and contemplate. Each line seems to unfold for me like petals of a flower opening.
Today was the auspicious day I added the fourth and final line. I experienced a culminating force softly, yet dynamically, emerging within me. It felt as if an assimilation of all four lines had taken the form of a great stambha of light, a great pillar, shooting up through my being. It was thrilling!
This experience reminded me of being in a planetarium where a 360-degree view of the universe was revealed. The speaker commented that, wherever you move in this great universe, you are always at the center.
For me this stambha, this eternal center, is God shining and reverberating within me as me. Now, I find that by pausing and centering on the word stambha, I “reset” and connect with Gurumayi’s entire Message. Such a simple and powerful shift!

As I reflect on Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, I love considering the meaning of the colors that support each line. The colors are not just solid stripes but are like brush strokes with nuances of color.
This reminds me to become increasingly sensitive to the nuances of meaning in each word of this newest Message from my Shri Guru.
I see the five colors supporting the letters of Gurumayi’s Message as representing the five elements that make up all of creation. These are earth (green), water (blue), fire (orange), air (indigo), and ether (subtle silver and white). This morning after reflecting on this, my mind came to rest on the breath, and I heard, “Hamsa, I am That.” Yes! I am made up of each of the elements. I am truly That.

I have been engaging with Gurumayi’s Message as a recipe for living each day.
In the morning, I practice the first line of Gurumayi’s Message with meditation and svadhyaya. Then I start my duties for the day—this is a way I practice the second line of Gurumayi’s Message.
During the course of the day, I find it helpful to pause and practice the third line of Gurumayi’s Message. This enables me to reconnect with the rasa of being alive. Otherwise, it is easy for me to get caught up in the details of life.
Throughout all of this, I try to take moments to remember and be aware of the Witness. For me, this creates space for bliss to shimmer.
At the end of the day, I take some time to step back and shed light on my whole day, considering what worked well and what I may want to change.
When I combine these elements, my day is more harmonious and calm, and I am able to stay in touch with joy and devotion.

After participating in Sweet Surprise 2026, my family and I reflected on the meaning the Message holds for us. We felt that it is profoundly rooted in the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and ether.
With great joy we explored the five colors of the Message Artwork. To us, each line seemed to be connected with a particular element. We connected the final and subtlest layer—the color white—to the element ether and to our own prana, our own life force.
We feel that the Message will continue to unfold and reveal countless perspectives to us.
We are grateful to Gurumayi for this deeply beautiful Message.

Before participating in Sweet Surprise 2026, I reflected on my intentions for the new year and resolved to become more established in the practice of silence. I was amazed—and how sweet it was!—when, at the end of the live video stream, Gurumayi gave us all her priceless darshan… in silence!
I contemplated this experience, reflecting in particular on how silence relates to Gurumayi’s Message for me. During meditation, I had this insight: “Silence is intrinsic to each line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026.”
I recalled how silence has the power to transform my mind. For example, when I practice mantra japa, my mind naturally attunes to the Self. I recognized that only when I’m in silence can I hear the voice of God within and know what my next right action is. To me, all the practices of the Siddha Yoga path are forms of silence, replenishing my heart and supporting my awareness to rest in silence.
I look forward to going deeper into Gurumayi’s Message and discovering all the wisdom it holds.

The word Reset in the opening line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 caught my attention. It first brought to mind all the modern appliances and devices that periodically need “resetting” to restore them to their proper functioning.
Later, in my meditation the word Reset took on an entirely different meaning—that of “resetting” a jewel. Sometimes a jewel needs to be remounted in a more secure setting or one that displays it more beautifully. My thoughts were then drawn to the eighth-century sage Shankaracharya’s Crest Jewel of Discrimination; that “crest jewel” is the highest capacity of the mind to discriminate between the real and the unreal in the Vedantic sense.
After contemplating this, I began to see in meditation a resplendent diamond of inestimable value at the center of a crown on my head. Whenever I recall this image, I “reset my mind” from thinking “I am ordinary” to thinking “I am divine.” What a “reset”!
What a gift is Gurumayi’s Message!

At the beginning of 2025 I decided to incorporate Gurumayi’s Message for 2025 into the daily physicalization I had been using for her Message for 2024. This physicalization has been a powerful practice for me, helping me to set a daily intention and reminding me of my purpose in this life.
After receiving Gurumayi’s multilayered and inspiring Message for 2026, I created movements for each line and today I was tingling with intense joy after practicing them. Stating this powerful, life-affirming Message aloud while embodying it anchors me in my Guru’s grace and wisdom, connects me to my heart, and uplifts my entire day. What an amazing blessing this is!
I am deeply grateful to Gurumayi for her guidance, grace, and unconditional love. I am filled with enthusiasm about exploring every fascinating facet of her Message this year.

During the early hours of New Year’s Day, my dreams were filled with happiness and easefulness. All the occurrences in the dreams worked out in amazing ways. I awoke full of energy, lightness, and anticipation. It felt as though the weighty challenges of 2025 had been erased, and I was beginning the year with a fresh slate.
I was then astounded when I received the first line of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026: “Renew! Reset your mind.” This is what had happened already through an abundance of grace during my dreams! I had had an experience of the Message before it was imparted.
The experience of lightness and easefulness has continued, for which I am very thankful.

I have been reflecting on the colors in Gurumayi’s Message for 2026. The first color, green, reminds me of trees and plants, which represent for me the freshness and constant rejuvenation of nature. The second color, light blue, makes me think of the expansive sky. When I’m able to look at things from an expansive perspective, I have the clarity to see and fulfill my “dharma.” The third color, yellow, brings to mind the sun and the sustaining quality of light. When I nurture my heart, then the flame within it shines brighter. Ultimately, all of these contemplations have brought me to the color associated with the fourth line of the Message, dark blue. This color reminds me of the Blue Pearl. It encourages me to do the Siddha Yoga practices, to study, and to keep the goal of knowing the Self in the forefront of my mind.
Linking the lines of Gurumayi’s Message to nature and to the Blue Pearl has helped me to remember them throughout the day.

I experience Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 as pure energy. I feel this energy in the sound of Gurumayi’s voice, in the way the Message is structured, and in the use of the verbs and the exclamation marks. I receive lots of energy from the Message. I know that it will require my own effort to fully understand the Message and apply it in my life. The nature images shown with the words of the Message remind me that I can draw on nature to energize my efforts.

As I received Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 for the first time, I experienced a temple bell resounding loudly. Any dross or veil that had been within me or around me instantly vanished. I found myself in a temple of purity, clarity, and protection.
I experience Gurumayi’s Message as a guiding light providing clarity on what is needed at any time in the various aspects of my life. All I need to do is stay within this magnificent temple sphere. I am so grateful to Gurumayi for this year’s Message and am eagerly looking forward to studying, practicing, assimilating, and implementing the many facets of this Message together with the global Siddha Yoga sangham.

My first thought after hearing Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 was that I have a lot of work to do! There was great joy with this thought, because this is the truly meaningful work—learning to live the Message through study, contemplation, and meditation. So, I am setting forth on this adventure with determination and gratitude for the grace that propels me and for my fellow Siddha Yoga sadhakas, who inspire me so much with their shares.

When I first heard Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, I felt showered by compassion and protection. I felt completely safe and cradled in God’s heart. I had total conviction that, yet again, Gurumayi is giving me a way onward and upward, and that each day offers a new beginning in my sadhana. I was convinced that every effort I make in following Gurumayi’s teachings and sustaining discipline will bear fruit.
I was also amazed that as I listened attentively and watched the images that accompanied Gurumayi’s Message, the words of the Message were instantly engraved in my heart. Since then, I have been delighting in repeating these words and phrases over and over again. I feel that this practice is keeping me moving in the right direction.

I experience that Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 is a beautiful gift that is uplifting my every moment and day with wonderful, healing, and refocusing yogic instructions for life. In these uncertain times, negative feelings had been infiltrating my mind and heart. Yet the words of Gurumayi’s Message are already banishing those emotions and supporting my sadhana from within, helping me to establish a divine inner stambha, a foundation of strength and peace.

As I explore and study Gurumayi’s teachings about the virtues in her books, especially My Lord Loves a Pure Heart and Enthusiasm, I find that I am “resetting my mind.”
My contemplation of the virtue of patience has really brought this home for me. I have tended to be highly impatient throughout my life. Reading Gurumayi’s teachings, I have realized with conviction that God is mine and that I am guided and protected by the divine. This understanding has completely changed my way of thinking about what needs to happen and in what timeframe.
This major shift in how I perceive and live is freeing me to be still and relaxed on a deep level. I am profoundly grateful for Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, and I look forward to continuing to explore it more deeply.

Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 touched my heart deeply. Her words “Renew! Observe! Recharge! Witness!” resonated within me, guiding me to introspect and to realign with my inner Self. I’m grateful for her divine guidance and inspiration to nurture my spiritual growth. My love and devotion for Gurumayi fill every moment with gratitude and peace.
a sixteen-year-old from Ratlam, India
I noticed that the design of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 is laid out in colors that stretch across the page. This design immediately reminded me of a flag. I did some research to find out whether there are any countries in the world whose flag contains all the colors from the 2026 Message, and I learned that this combination of colors does not appear on any country’s flag.
This made me think, “What a wonderful opportunity!” This year, as I contemplate and practice Gurumayi’s Message, I have the opportunity in these often chaotic times to establish my own “territory” of peace, equanimity, joy, compassion, and lightheartedness.
I feel that Gurumayi’s Message is calling me to plant my consciousness in the jewels of the Self, claiming the vast and bountiful country of my heart.

Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 invites me to work on myself on all levels: mentally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually. It supports me in experiencing the peace, love, and bliss that exist in my heart wherever I am, whatever I am doing.
On January 2, it snowed a little. When I went outside the following morning to take some pictures of the snow, a piece of snow fell on top of my head from high above. It felt as if Gurumayi were blessing me, not with a wand of peacock feathers but with the snow, encouraging me to go for it without any reservation.
Filled with gratitude for this blessing, I renewed my commitment to put this precious gift from my Shri Guru into practice every day.

When I heard the first line of Gurumayi’s Message, I wondered how I could “reset” my mind. Yet deep within my core, I sensed an intuition that I knew how and that I understood how. That intuition energized me.
Over the coming year, I wish to turn my attention to that knowing presence within me so that I can deepen my contemplation of each line of Gurumayi’s Message.

I had allowed my sadhana and my life to get off track recently, and I had the feeling that something was not right. As Gurumayi began to share her Message and said, “Renew!” I experienced the word like a gong being struck to bring me to attention. For me, that one word had so many meanings in a split second: wake up, take notice, make changes, and stop and listen to what I’m about to say.
I knew to listen, to take heed. As Gurumayi continued to deliver her full Message, my heart kept hearing “Renew,” “Renew,” “Renew.” As the next words were spoken—“Observe! Recharge! Witness!”—and as each of the four lines was spoken and displayed, the guidance I received in my heart was, “These words are not just for today but for the entire year. Assimilate and apply them.”
Though Gurumayi did not speak beyond the delivery of her Message for 2026, her look of love and resolve at the end of Sweet Surprise reinforced for me the powerful beginning of her Message: “Renew!”
Florida, United States
I was facing a difficult situation when I received Gurumayi’s Message, and her words, “Observe! Uphold your dharma,” resonated inside me along with the image of the mountain peak. I knew they held an answer to the situation I had been facing.
I wondered, “How can ‘observe’ be connected to ‘dharma’?” As I pondered this question, I realized that only by closely observing a situation can a person take the right action. I spontaneously began to chant Narayana, and suddenly the right response appeared in my heart. It stood out to me that the right action, dharma, was revealed in my heart and not in my mind. I plan to remember this for the rest of my life.
I feel that Gurumayi’s Message is a precious gift that I unwrap by making an effort to understand it.

Since last year, I have been determined to “reset” my mind and life. When I heard Gurumayi’s Message, it felt like a confirmation that I am on the right path in my life. It felt like a warm invitation, an extra energy package, an expression of what is already alive in me, and a reminder to stay on track. I am very grateful that my Siddha Yoga sadhana feels so naturally close to my heart.

Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 gave me a clue for practicing viveka. For me, “Observe!” means to look with all my senses and my intellect to understand the world as it is and not to disdain this world because I am a spiritual seeker! Instead, I feel the Message encourages me to understand the world and then to act with discrimination. I am going to continue my contemplation of Gurumayi’s Message throughout the year.
Saint Germain en Laye, France
The morning after receiving Gurumayi’s Message, I started to physicalize the first words of each line: “Renew!”—my arms went up, wide open. “Observe!”—my arms went down along my body. “Recharge!”—my arms went up again. “Witness!”—my arms went slowly down. After several rounds, I felt strong and joyous.
Then I noticed that my breathing was following my movements: “Renew!”—breathing in. “Observe!”—breathing out. “Recharge!”—breathing in again. “Witness!”—breathing out slowly.
I have made this a new routine to start my day before meditation. Doing this will increase my inner strength and let my inner joy shine. I feel very grateful!

For me, Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 arrived like a spiritual “care package” to unwrap all year long. I placed the Message on my puja altar to imbibe its essence every morning as I plan my day. I affirmed that contemplating Gurumayi’s Message, assimilating it, and putting it into action on a daily basis will be my practice this year.
Every day upon awakening, I will practice the first line of the Message by steering thoughts from worry to the repetition of the mantra. This will immediately usher in a day of gratitude, and the rest will follow. I will practice the second line by taking refuge in Gurumayi’s Message and performing every action with awareness and care. I will practice the third line by chanting, and the fourth line with meditation.
I feel that in this way I will cherish Gurumayi’s teachings and always keep the company of the Siddhas.

I love how practical Gurumayi’s Message is! It feels to me like a set of steps to address any circumstance that comes up and to responsibly take my mind to my heart on the path to attain witness consciousness.
California, United States
For me, receiving Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 was like an initiation in which Gurumayi implanted a vitalizing, precious jewel into my being.
I experienced each line of the Message as a different side of a diamond. I saw the Message as sparkling, brilliant, and red like a ruby. Since receiving the Message, I have already begun to experience how, when I repeat it mindfully within, it brings me into a state of contentedness, fullness, and deep peace. I feel resourced, powerful, and lighthearted.
I love how each line of the Message, with its own unique quality and power, cascades into the next, and how they all seem, to me, to meld into each other. I truly feel blessed by Gurumayi.

When Gurumayi looked into the camera during Sweet Surprise, I felt as if she were looking deep into my heart and showering me with recognition and love. When I study her Message now, I feel this same deeply personal attention and connection. I feel that this Message was crafted to guide me in unique and specific ways, appropriate for my life and sadhana.
With the extraordinary gift of Gurumayi’s Message, I begin each year with gratitude and a certainty that amazing things will happen in my sadhana. As I grow in sadhana, my transformation is proof of the power of the Siddha Yoga teachings; I experience the teachings come alive in my own life.
Gurumayi’s grace fills me with wonder.

I am so grateful to Gurumayi for this inspirational and empowering Message.
The one word that is the same, in each of the four lines of the Message, is your. With this, I feel I am being entrusted at a deeper level to take responsibility for my thoughts, actions, heart, and awareness with grace fully by my side.

When I reflect on the opening images of Sweet Surprise, Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 becomes clear. The refreshing sensation of the waterfall and the stillness of the lake allow me to “reset my mind,” to remove my expectations, to clear my doubts. The stillness and strength of the mountain give me the altitude and wisdom to “observe” everything from a distance, to see my process, and act on what needs to be done, without fear or hesitation.
The flame, which I see as the Guru’s light, is the light of my heart, the grace of the Guru; I must nurture it and be aware that the Guru’s grace is always with me, guiding me and giving me strength. And finally, the ocean of consciousness is vast and deep; by “witnessing” it, I can allow it to permeate my mind, body, and soul.
The words “Expand, expand, expand!” resounded in my heart as I received Gurumayi’s Message. I view this Message as a recipe for liberation. I am grateful to Gurumayi for this experience and for sharing her deep wisdom.
Aranjuez, Spain
I love the anticipatory connection to Gurumayi’s Message for the next year that I have been able to feel in December for several years now. Somehow, an impulse has always arisen within me without my consciously thinking about what Gurumayi’s Message might be.
Recently, I had the impulse to transform my thinking. For example, when I wish for a certain outcome in a situation, instead of thinking “This won’t work anyway,” I envision it as already having worked out. Or when I have a lot to do, I don’t let others convince me that I’m doing too much; I simply do it, without dwelling on what others may think.
I find it really beautiful to see my earlier impulse reflected in Gurumayi’s words: “Renew! Reset your mind.” And as I’m writing this, I realize that the other lines in the Message for 2026 fit just as perfectly too.
Obing, Germany
For me, Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 seems to flow perfectly from Gurumayi’s Message for 2025. In implementing that Message, I found that practicing remembrance of the sacred inner flame was a powerful way for me to make wise use of my time. In Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, the white, almost incandescent lettering of each sentence indicates to me that the foundational light of the inner flame is shining through each word, illuminating our deepening practice, understanding, and experience.
Receiving Gurumayi’s Message and darshan today were precious gifts that I will cherish throughout this year.

A week ago I was feeling inspired to take some strong, clear steps in the way I relate to and engage with certain thoughts, the way I work, the way I eat and nourish myself, and my daily practices.
I was delighted to receive that inner guidance and wondered how I would integrate it with Gurumayi’s Message for 2026. And lo and behold, each element of my inner inspiration was already aligned with one line of the Message.
I am so grateful to Gurumayi ji for the treasure house of her Message. I am filled with awe and gratitude, as well as sweet anticipation about what each line in the Message holds for me and how her love will reach everyone I interact with.

For me, Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 has a fascinating structure. At the start of each line, we receive the four sentences consisting of active verbs, full of so much potential. Then each verb is followed by a specific focus: the mind, dharma, the heart, and consciousness. I also noticed how the four active verbs, each with its exclamation mark, seem to alternate between action and reflection, action and reflection.
There are so many layers to Gurumayi’s Message!

Ever since I heard it, I have been repeatedly articulating and memorizing the words of Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, and the more I focused on it, the more my understanding deepened. Having just returned from Gurudev Siddha Peeth where I participated in the Pilgrimage to the Heart Retreat, I have been reflecting on the next steps for my sadhana. Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 is an answer to all my prayers! Each word answers the questions, “What now? What’s next?”

Last year, every single one of my days was touched by the power and grace of Gurumayi’s Message for 2025, bringing immense benefit to my life. Throughout December, I devoted myself to absorbing the essence of all that I had learned, feeling deeply fulfilled by this process.
When I received Gurumayi’s Message for 2026, I felt completely embraced by its wisdom. Yet I know this is only the beginning—her Message will reveal itself gradually as I engage with it more deeply. I am now crafting contemplative questions to explore the depth of each word, seeking to truly understand the guidance Gurumayi has given me. This understanding will sustain and direct me throughout the year to implement the teachings in my daily life; this in turn will support me to move forward to reach the ultimate purpose of my human birth.
How blessed I am to have a Guru who lovingly cares for me, guiding each step of my journey with her profound teachings, boundless grace, and infinite compassion!

In Melbourne we received Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 in the magical hours deep in the night. Before Sweet Surprise began, I went outside and found the almost-full moon. My heart welcomed her light. It felt like a particular blessing preparing me for the sacred satsang to come.
When we received Gurumayi’s Message, the words resounded in my being. I felt them give form to a quickening I have felt in my sadhana—a greater commitment to my own heart. I know that Gurumayi’s Message will unfold in graceful and powerful ways that I can’t yet imagine, and that it will further my efforts to abide in my own heart.
After the satsang, throughout the night in my sleep these four words repeated over and over, “Renew! Observe! Recharge! Witness!”
How blessed we are!

Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 has helped me understand clearly that I must not turn away from my responsibilities. Instead, I should aim to walk my path with sincerity, guided by dharma, inner discipline, and integrity. It has inspired me to keep my mind free from the weight of past negativity and to gently align it with the remembrance of the divine, through contemplation, meditation, and inner stillness.
For me, Gurumayi’s Message is a call to inner transformation and a step forward on the path to Self-realization.

Every year, Gurumayi’s Message gives me a new incentive in life, helping me move forward in my sadhana. Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 is wonderful and very powerful for me. Just hearing its first word, “Renew!” I immediately felt as if I was experiencing all the power of the entire Message. I felt it was my own. I learned all of the words right away, both in English and in my own language, Italian.
It is the Message I need this year. It seems to have been written especially for me. I feel that it will enable me to turn my life around and give me the strength to move forward and overcome the challenging times I am going through right now.

I absolutely love Gurumayi’s Message for 2026! It feels so joyful and filled with encouragement. The images from nature—of falling water, a mountainous expanse, fire, ocean—and their associated beautiful bands of color provide additional depth of meaning and ways to understand the Message and put it into practice.
One step I would like to take first is to explore the meanings of the first word in each line by looking them up in a dictionary; for example, I would like to better understand the differences in meaning between Renew and Recharge, and between Observe and Witness.

I was deeply touched by Gurumayi’s devotion to Bade Baba, and her divine focus on him reminded me to focus my own attention on my own Guru. Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 fills my heart and soul to the brim. It feels like this new year is a holy promise to be fulfilled as we study and practice Gurumayi’s sacred words.
When I heard the words “Recharge! Nourish your heart,” I felt the presence of a shiny diamond in my own heart—so precious. I felt deeply nurtured at that moment. Knowing that this year will be profound beyond my current understanding, I am so grateful to Gurumayi for her teachings. I feel so much love in my heart.

Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 fills my heart and mind with certainty, comfort, and eagerness. It’s exactly what I’ve been longing for without even knowing it. I feel Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 is one for my body, mind, heart, and soul. It is like a healing map that I can bring on my journey to be sure I am connected and able to find my way home.

Yesterday I contemplated my priority for 2026 and received this answer: “Act differently.” I wondered what to change and how. Then today, when I received Gurumayi’s Message, I realized that it answered precisely these two questions! There is so much grace and love in this synchronicity; it fills me with joy. I see it as a sign of a great blessing from my Guru.
This feeling of blessedness took root in my heart during the meditation in Sweet Surprise. My gaze was on Bade Baba, and the four bouquets of flowers surrounding him appeared to me as bearers of each of the four lines of Gurumayi’s Message. At that moment, I focused on each of the bouquets in turn and, to my great surprise, I remembered each of the four lines in the Message. Each bouquet seemed to contain the nectar of the Guru’s words and Bade Baba’s grace, so that I could integrate this teaching and make it my own during the year 2026. Thanks to my Guru, I begin this new year with great confidence, curiosity, and profound gratitude.

Starting the year with Gurumayi in the Siddha Yoga Universal Hall and receiving her Message fills me with intention, purpose, and meaning. Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 stands out to me with its structure of four lines. I am planning to devote time to focus deeply on each line. In this way, I can fully explore the meaning of each and see where it might take me; what lessons it might have to teach me; and how it might bring wisdom, light, perspective, and clarity into my life during 2026.
This year feels like I’m stepping into big changes, and with Gurumayi’s Message, I feel prepared and ready for whatever comes my way. I am certain that every activity I find myself doing will be enhanced by Gurumayi’s words, which will guide me with love and clarity. I feel ready for the challenges and the joys this year will bring, knowing that God is by my side.

Today, at the exact moment that my mind felt full and open, Gurumayi’s Message for 2026 reached me. It didn’t feel like just words—it felt like guidance. In the middle of my responsibilities, studies, and inner noise, Gurumayi’s Message felt like a pause given by grace. It felt like a reminder that I don’t need to rush—only to remain aware, sincere, and connected. I am grateful beyond words.

Gurumayi’s Message inspires me to expand my journey of inner growth and to become more aware, more present, more at peace. It is easy for me to get lost in the chaos of life, but it’s time for me to reconnect with my heart. I will focus on doing this through the practice of letting go and staying true to my values and the purpose of my life. I will try to stay aware of my thoughts, emotions, and actions and to allow myself to make conscious choices in order to lead a more purposeful life.
I am thankful to Gurumayi ji for giving us this study focus of the year.
